Our Governance Arrangements

The Maltby Learning Trust (MLT) is committed to delivering the very best educational experience for all children and young people in Maltby.

The MLT operates as a single trust multi-academy sponsor which is governed by a board of trustees. The board of trustees works with each of the local governance committees to recruit governors in each of its academies, usually drawn from the local community. The MLT delegates extensive powers to local governance committees.

Each Governance committee has responsibility for providing high quality provision within the set budget and is expected to challenge and monitor the performance of its academy, securing excellent educational provision and outcomes for all children and young people.

By adding capacity and challenge, the MLT seeks to secure excellent educational provision for all students and staff across Maltby. This is an exciting time in Maltby as the Learning Trust continues to expand its group of schools and to have further impact upon the lives of young people
