Maltby Learning Trust Summer Update

As the 2024–25 academic year concludes, we are reflecting on a year full of progress, partnership and pride across all of its academies.
From embedding weekly enrichment sessions in every secondary school to investing in mental health and SEND provision, the Trust continues to deliver on its commitment to providing exceptional experiences for every child.
These Wednesday enrichment activities, ranging from canoeing to podcasting, have removed barriers to participation and ensured that every student benefits from a rich, hands-on education beyond the classroom.
This year has also been one of national recognition. The Trust’s schools earned School Games Gold Awards, excellence in careers education standards, and mental health accreditations. Students shone on every stage, from publishing winning science essays and receiving Oxbridge offers to signing professional sports contracts and leading at regional conferences.
Meaningful partnerships with organisations like Better Learners Better Workers and Pop’s Outdoor Adventures helped expand after-school opportunities and give students real-world skills, confidence, and community connection.
