Lilly Hall Academy Student Raises Over £5,000 for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

Maltby Learning Trust is proud to celebrate the remarkable fundraising efforts of Noah, a dedicated and compassionate student from Maltby Lilly Hall Academy, part of Maltby Learning Trust, who has taken on an extraordinary challenge in support of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
After learning about his family’s charitable initiatives through NRP Engineering Services, whose Christmas fundraising plans include a trolley dash and a Christmas gift appeal, Noah was determined to contribute in his own meaningful way. Motivated by a desire to help others, he committed to running one mile every day throughout November to raise funds and awareness for the hospice.
Noah’s determination and kindness quickly became an inspiration to those around him. Not only has he already raised over £3,000, but his challenge has brought together a wide circle of support, with classmates, teammates, and even players from opposing football teams joining him on his daily runs. His efforts have demonstrated the power of compassion and the positive influence young people can have within their communities.
Speaking about Noah’s achievement, Mr Pease, Principal at Maltby Lilly Hall Academy, said:
“We are incredibly proud of Noah and the outstanding commitment he has shown throughout this fundraising challenge. His determination to make a difference reflects the values we strive to instil in all our students. Noah has inspired not only his peers, but our entire school community. He is a credit to himself, his family, and to Maltby Lilly Hall Academy family.”
We are delighted to recognise Noah’s extraordinary contribution and the example he sets for other young people across the Trust. His efforts highlight the impact that kindness, initiative, and perseverance can have on those in need.
